All shows attended after the 2008 State Finals (June 18th) count towards this years 3 shows needed to qualify for the "2009" State Finals.
All shows attended pryor to June 18, 2008 "do not" count towards qualifying for 2009.
WILD CARD RULE CHANGE!!!
There has been a change in the rules regarding Wild Cards. With the State Championships right around the corner, I thought I should get the informaiton out to everyone.
Effective immediately:
1. Anyone holding a Wild Card can now use that card for either World Championships (Youth or Open/Senior).. So if you earn a wild card in a youth class you can use it to attend the Open/Senior Worlds; or if you earn a wild card in an Open/Senior class, you can use it to attend the Youth Worlds
(if you meet the age requirment, of course!)
2. Wild Cards do not expire.
3. You can transfer ownership of the Wild Card. To transfer ownership, you must complete the Transfer form (available on the NBHA website, www.nbha.com) and attach it to the Wild Card. The person you are transfering the Wild Card to must certify on the Transfer form that they have been a member of the NBHA for at least three-(3) years. So if you have an extra wild card and would like to give it to someone (and they do not have to be related to you) - with this new rule change - you can.
